A short I wrote, directed and act in will debut on the big screen Sunday Nov. 4 at 4:30pm in the Chicago Comedy Film Festival. Chad Wilson produced it and put an ungodly amount of time into the beast called Moratorium. Brian Pudil does a fantastic, difficult acting work, and Junior Stopka and CJ Sullivan also look pretty in this brutal comedy.
On Mayor Bloomberg's Deputy to the Vice Comptroller's Clerical Assistant's insistence, I'll be doing my solo show at the PIT in NYC for the New York City Sketch Festival. Saturday, 10/13 6pm with Thunderstood and Jenneral Assembly. I've seen A.J. Schraeder's Thunderstood show and is the most original solo show (or any show) I've seen recently. And he's a nice guy. Buy me a beer, AJ.

Comedian Paul Thomas’s satiric mind emerged from the pandemic unbowed, leading to Intimate and Appropriate, an incisive collection of scenes steeped in the selfie-righteousness of a country that has lost its mind. With grounded characters and the logic of an ancient Midwestern philosopher, Thomas delicately stomps through the “mine” field of identity, language, and recycle bins, putting a hall of mirrors up to a narcisstocracy that kinda seems to wanna offend itself.
